As part of the “Send Us a Picture of Your Home Office” series, we’re featuring the home offices of budding freelancers whom submit their office pictures to us. Today we’re looking at Adrian Diaconescu’s new home office.
“I’ve been busy these last couple of days with the redesign of my home office. Two months ago I celebrated 1 year of full time freelancing and self-employment. During this year, I didn’t make any major investment in furniture or hardware
So last week I said goodbye to my old home office and created a brand new IKEA working space. I also retired my old PC and bought a new Dell XPS M1530.
Here are some before and after pictures:
Before
After
I’m glad I finally took the time and made this move. My new home office will help me be better organized, more efficient, more productive.
“
As you can tell, Adrian has a very nice, clean setup – printer, scanner, folders etc. all aligned. Also notice the dual-screening. It’s actually a very productive tip to have dual monitors, for example, you could put up a design brief on one, and Photoshop up on the other. He also has loads of storage which is a plus.

Very nice. Looks very progessional.
Thanks for featuring my office! Looking forward to seeing more.
I just posted a pic of my home office on my blog http://createsean.com/blog/index.php/blog_createsean/comments/my-home-office/ – much more cramped than the one in this post.
I’ve just moved my office from one room to another in my home, and what a difference a few sunny, south-facing windows make! (or north-facing, for our friends from down under)
I feel so much more refreshed working in the new room, even though the setup is similar.
